Being held anually, the Thai Nguyen’s Golf Tournament aims to create a playground for members to gain experience, express their love for golf. This tournament is also a chance for golfers in Thai Nguyen province to interact with each other.

Souvenir trophies and sponsored awards

Within Thai Nguyen’s annual tournament in Thai Nguyen province, the format will follow the daily Handicap system, the 36 system. The points of the tournament will be calculated based on USGA regulations as well as Hanoi Golf Club’s regulations. The winners are the ones with the lowest net scores in their group. In the event of a tie, the golfer with a lower handicap (HDC) will win. Each golfer will receive 1 unique award and that will be his or her highest award.

The award structure of this year’s tournament includes first, second and third prizes of Group A & B; the first prize of the female group and the prizes for technique. In addition, there is also a lucky draw with many attractive gifts.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi, Chairman of Thai Nguyen’s Golf Association said that this year’s tournament was a very meaningful event which created a connection between the golf-loving members and this tournament would become an indispensable annual event of Thai Nguyen’s Golf Association.
